David Taylor and Associates, LLC, is a knowledgeable and committed law firm in Newnan, Georgia, that represents clients in matters of criminal law, family law and personal injury. We also assist clients with estate planning.

Our firm not only has a decade of legal experience behind us, but we also have the perspective that comes from real-life work experience in a variety of professional settings. Attorney Taylor has worked, among other things, has worked as a toxicologist and a factory worker before becoming a lawyer. He earned his B.A. in chemistry from Auburn University, and earned his J.D. at Georgia State University College of Law. Attorney Taylor has been certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) methods, and has taken pharmacology and toxicology classes, a knowledge base that comes in handy when working on drug and DUI cases. He spent the first seven years of his legal career with the district attorney's office in Carroll County, prosecuting all types of crimes, from murder to robbery, domestic violence and drug crimes. In October 2013 he started his own practice.

Attorney Strickland was raised in Newnan, Georgia, and has strong ties to the community he now serves as an attorney. He has a passion and focus for legal matters, and worked for two different district attorneys' offices (Carroll County and Athens-Clarke County) before attending law school. At David Taylor and Associates, LLC, attorney Strickland works primarily on family law and criminal defense cases.
